We are always interested in having new tutors in our team. If you have a passion for teaching and are interested in helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence in their subject, please get in touch. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and experienced tutors in all subjects.

New tutors are required to have enhanced DBS check (we can often help with this), appropriate experience and references and complete Safeguarding/other training.

What qualifications do I need to become a tutor?

Do I need a DBS check?

Yes, all tutors must have an enhanced DBS check before working with students. If you do not already have one, we can facilitate the application process for you.

What subjects and levels can I teach?

You can teach subjects and levels that match your qualifications and expertise, from primary through to GCSE and A level. Maths, English and Science are the most requested subjects, but we will discuss your strengths during onboarding to ensure the best fit with students.

Can I choose when and where I work?

Yes, you have full flexibility to choose your availability and preferred locations. We match you with students based on your schedule and preferences.

Am I employed or self-employed?

Tutors work with us on a self-employed basis, giving you flexibility and control over your workload. You are responsible for managing your own schedule and tax arrangements.

Do I have to commit to a minimum number of hours?

No, there is no minimum hour requirement, and you can take on as much or as little work as you like. This makes it easy to fit tutoring around other commitments.

Do I have to work evenings, weekends or school holidays?

You are free to choose when you work, including whether you offer evenings, weekends, or holiday sessions. Many tutors do choose these times as they are in higher demand.
